Die letzten Tage hat Garmin wieder einmal eine neue Beta Software für den Garmin Oregon 550 herausgebracht:

Changes made from version 3.52 to 3.61:

Was ich hier noch erwähnen möchte, ist die wieder eingefügte Funktion: Automatisch Archivieren, hiermit kann man nun seine Tracks wieder wöchentlich oder täglich archivieren lassen.

Schon wenige Tage nach dem letzten Update hat Garmin nun für den Garmin Oregon 550 erneut ein Update zur Verfügung gestellt.

Oregon x50 software version 3.52 Beta

Changes made from version 3.51 to 3.52:
  • Added geocache filtering. Select Setup > Geocaches to add custom filters.
  • Improved keyboard responsiveness.
  • Fix hang searching for POI.

Garmin Oregon/Dakota: Beta – Firmwareupdate

Aktuell hat Garmin eine neue Firmware für die Oregon- und Dakota-Geräte zur Verfügung gestellt.

 

Oregon x50:
Changes made from version 3.50 to 3.51:
* Added brightness adjustments for BirdsEye imagery.
* Improved WAAS performance.
* Improved speed, trip odometer, and stopped/moving time data fields while in low velocity.
* Fixed issue with map POI’s showing twice for a single point.
* Fixed elevation profiles to always use the most detailed DEM data loaded.
* Fixed future plot with tracks that have no elevations in them.
* Fixed issue with calculator % function.

Oregon x00:
Changes made from version 3.80 to 3.81:
* Added brightness adjustments for BirdsEye imagery.

Wie man hier im Forum nachlesen kann, hat sich scheinbar auch die GPS-Genauigkeit erhöht, was mich natürlich sehr freut, denn in den letzten Wochen ist mir Aufgefallen, dass die Genauigkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig gelassen hat.

Kann das jemand bestätigen?

aktuell hat Gamrin mal wieder ein neues Update für den Garmin Oregon 550 und auch für BaseCamp zur Verfügung gestellt.

Oregon x50 (WebUpdater) software version 3.40

Changes made from version 3.30 to 3.40:
  • Added BirdsEye control to Profiles.

Mal schauen, was diese Updat bringt, gerade am letzten Wochenende habe ich festgestellt, dass es bei der Kartendarstellung Probleme gab.

BaseCamp 3.0.2

  • Eliminated error messages at startup with blank SD cards.
  • Fixed several printing related issues.
  • Fixed issue when hovering over the 3D view after turning off lines or areas.
  • Fixed issue when importing a KML file that didn’t contain any visible ground overlays.

    Für mich ein wichtiges Update, da ich zuletzt mit BaseCamp nicht mehr auf die Speicherkarte zugreifen konnte – Funktioniert jetzt aber wieder.

    Somit können nun auch die BirdsEye Karten wieder direkt auf die Speicherkarte kopiert werden.

    HTC Touch Pro 2: ROM-Version:2.53.407.6

    Seit letzter Woche gibt es von HTC nun ein neues ROM für den HTC Touch Pro 2

    ROM Version: 2.07.407.1

    Radio ROM: 4.49.25.91

    HTC hat in dieses ROM das neue Bedienkomzept Sense integriert. In das ROM sind ist nun auch ein Twitter Client (HTC Piep) integriert.

    Das Update funktioniert Problemlos, nur es mussten mal wieder alle Programme neu installiert werden,

    Ich finde ich mal wieder das Konzept von Apple mit dem iPhone klar besser, denn hier wird bei einem Update zuerst ein Backup erstellt, dann das Update installiert und hinterher sind alle Daten wieder Verfügbar.
